Title: The Diviners
Author: Libba Bray
Pub Date: September 18, 2012
Evie O'Neill has been exiled from her boring old hometown and shipped off to the bustling streets of New York City--and she is pos-i-toot-ly thrilled. New York is the city of speakeasies, shopping, and movie palaces! Soon enough, Evie is running with glamorous Ziegfield girls and rakish pickpockets. The only catch is Evie has to live with her Uncle Will, curator of The Museum of American Folklore, Superstition, and the Occult--also known as "The Museum of the Creepy Crawlies."
When a rash of occult-based murders comes to light, Evie and her uncle are right in the thick of the investigation. And through it all, Evie has a secret: a mysterious power that could help catch the killer--if he doesn't catch her first.
I'm excited for this book because I love Libba Bray's Gemma Doyle series and I've been hankering for her to write another historical fiction series. So hooray! September is a long way away.

YES Libba Bray is AMAZING and I love the roaring 20s and this book is going to be all around epic with its occultness and what not!

I just finished this and if you loved Gemma Doyle, then you will love The Diviners. I think I'm going to give away my signed arc in August.
I love historical fiction and this one sounds really good. One of my friends got an ARC and it is pos-i-toot-ly HUGE! I want to read reviews and then decide from there. Great pick!
