Q: Jumping Genres: Ever pick up a book from a genre you usually don't like and LOVE it? Tell us about it and why you picked it up in the first place.
So I never thought I would like Romance books until my friend recommended The Black Dagger Brotherhood series. At first I was kind of like, eh I don't really like romance but I'm glad I gave it a try anyway because I loved it. Now I read all kind of romance books.

I'm not a big fan of romance either. But maybe I will have to check on this series :)
The Dark-Hunter series got me into romance books. While my friends were reading it in high school I avoided romance like the plague because eww sex scenes lol but I came across the dark-hunter series some how and checked out the website and got pretty obsessed with the character storylines long before even reading the books and now I am a fan and have also read other type of romance novels :).

I don't usually read romance either but I stumbled onto one accidentally (with a paranormal twist) and really enjoyed it! If it's done well, it can be awesome.
