Feature and Follow

Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop that is designed to provide some much-appreciated exposure to the bloggers participating, and to expand their following. Hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, each of whom feature a chosen blog for the week, it's an interesting way to get to know one another.

If you would like to follow me, you can do so by GFC, Twitter or Linky .

I also make sure to go back and follow everyone that comments and I try to always follow twitter along with GFC/Linky. So if you have a twitter that is not on your page for some reason leave it in the comments and I will follow you that way too! I've recently become a fan of Bloglovin since it sends me an email update of everyones post. So much easier to follow then GFC! So follow me on there and I will definitely follow you back. If you don't have it, check it out.

Q: Have you broken up with a series? If so which one and why?

For me it was the House of Night Series by PC and Kristin Cast. I really liked the series in the beginning, I thought the idea was interesting but then it just started going on for too long. I'm not sure if it's even ended yet but I couldn't help dropping off. I actually have some of the books that I haven't read yet (Borders going out of business sale). Maybe I will pick it up again but maybe not.

You are the second person I saw with House of Night. I always pick it up but never buy it. Maybe this is a sign LOL

I agree. The idea was great, but the way it was written and carried out just didn't capture me long enough. New follower, check out my FF at www.myviewpointonbooks.blogspot.com

It seems to be the longer series that people are breaking up with. I think sometimes authors don't know when to just wrap a series up before their readers loose interest!

Hi! I'm still pretty new to the hop, so I'm still in the habit of going to introduce myself, I guess. Anyway, I completely agree with your FF. I mean, I used to read HoN like a huge fan, but after a while, it just got repetitive and cliched and altogether a bit overwhelming. I bought the latest book, but I don't have the heart to read it. And yes, it's still going on. I have no idea where it's going anymore. Neferet's all screwed up and stuff. I dumped the Vampire Diaries (book) series in my post for similar reasons. I still love the TV series though. I hope you can check out my FF post: http://everyone-deserves-tea.blogspot.sg/2013/06/feature-and-follow-friday-4.html
