Q: Confess your blogger sins! Is there anything as a newbie blogger that you've done, that as you gained more experience you were like -- oops?
Well I've made it through my first year of blogging and to be honest I didn't expect all the crazy personal stuff that happened to me to happen. So I felt like there were times when I just couldn't keep up but that's life. So I had a period where I didn't really get reviews up when I wanted to. I still have a bunch sitting in word files.
I'm terrible with email, I think that's my biggest sin. I haven't had a chance to really even read all of them.

It drives me crazy when I open my email and there's a 100 new emails. I'm like OMG WTF...most of them end up being spam or something completely stupid like Direct TV asking me if I want to do ANOTHER survey.

I'm still trying to figure my way through my reviews. Right now, I write them on goodreads and then use their tool to copy it into my blog. I like how it gives the cover of the book and a link to the goodreads shelf. My first few reviews I would DL the image, link it to the amazon.com purchase page, and then copy from my blog to goodreads. I seem to have reversed it. :)

The good thing is, you have reviews waiting to be posted and if you have a few days open, you can post an old review. there's nothing wrong with that.

I just started writing and accepting book reviews, so I have just few reviews on my blog at the moment. I check my email regularly, like twice a day, and I try to unsubscribe to sites I no longer find useful.

I am really horrible with reviews - I review as I read. I would love to get a stock pile of reviews so I can post them more often, since life gets in the way (kids, work, etc) of reading at the pace I would like. :)

I went through a bout of laziness where I was reading plenty of books, but simply didn't feel like taking time to write reviews- I just really wanted to read the next book in my pile since they all looked so good! I'm hoping to combat the laziness now lol!

I think it's important to remember that our blogs are supposed to be a fun hobby! I love sharing my views on books I've read, but sometimes, life does get busy.
